Two women are wanted for allegedly setting fire to an apartment in Toronto

Toronto police are searching for two suspects accused of setting fire to an apartment in Scarborough a week ago. The incident occurred in the Clairlea-Birchmount area near Warden and St. Clair avenues at approximately 2:50 a.m. on Sunday.

According to reports, two women entered the apartment building, one allegedly carrying a gas can in the elevator lobby. After exiting the elevator, the pair ignited the door of an apartment unit before escaping in a black 2016 Lincoln MKC with the license plate CYEW284.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the two occupants inside the targeted apartment escaped unharmed. The suspects are Andrea Jameer, 34, and Dustin Perez, 23.

The wanted individuals face multiple charges, including arson, arson endangering life, possession of incendiary material for arson, mischief over $5000, mischief endangering life, dangerous weapons, and disguise with intent.

Andrea Jameer is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, with a heavy build, black hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black tank top, black shorts, a silver sequined face mask, and black sneakers.

Dustina Perez is 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 249 pounds, with a heavy build, brown hair, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, black shorts, a blue bandana covering her face, and white sandals.
